International Chodiev Foundation

International Chodiev Foundation

The International Chodiev Foundation was founded by Patakh Kayumovich Chodiev. The main goals of the Foundation in the field of arts patronage are to promote academic achievement and to sustain creative potential. In April 2006 the Foundation marked its 10th Anniversary. It was ten years ago when Patakh Chodiev, a PhD in political sciences, an oriental studies expert and a successful businessman decided to set up a charity foundation which could help to bring to life his three main passions: support most gifted students, carry out publishing activities and provide arts patronage.

The International Chodiev Foundation sponsored a Russian-British ballet co-production Mowgli which debuted on February, the 3d, 2008 at the State Kremlin Palace stage. Music to the Mowgli ballet was composed by a 14-year old London conductor-composer Alexander Prior. Moreover, the Foundation purchased 150 tickets to the ballet premiere to donate them to children from the Moscow children's home  17, V. Borodina children's home and Chulpan Khamatova Fund.
